you will learn better if you draw bigger my guy. like there's a reason people in life drawing classes generally learn on easels, on big paper, instead of bent over a sketchbook. it loosens up your arm and makes you draw from the shoulder. makes sure you don't use an eraser. try it, its fun.

Is chicken scratch that big of a deal if you go over it with better lines later? I have been trying to stop using partial lines, but I don't quite understand the issue. It helps me construct stuff in an easier way. But if I go over it later, is there anything wrong with using chicken scratch in the early construction/gesture/sketching phases?

yeah they're stiff and weightless. they looks like posed mannequins. it'd say >>3290264 is the best for what they were trying to do though.

like this kind of thing, the anatomy's all perfect but it's the play of straights against curves and strong gesture that really makes you want to look at it
