Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I heavily favor drawing from the arm. Also sometimes I will do a "ghost line" but often it will make a mess of what I already have down on paper. I suppose it would help if I planned the drawing more...

Yes I meant being accurate to what I intend to put down. When you say practice contours blind do you mean have an image in mind but not in front of you? I know these are very basic questions, and I appreciate the help :)
