I'm the guy that posted it, and I don't like that too, but at least you can call it effective concept art, like you can tell the mood from it and it gives 3D artists an idea of how to build the environment. I can't say the same with Darek Zabrocki's "art", he obviously takes photos he didn't take himself and added filters and vague "brush strokes" to make it look """painterly""", and that's it. He contributes very little and it baffles me how he gets hired at all.
