Thanks! I don’t think I grew much, fundamentally between the two. For the right, it was an homage to pic related so I had a guide to moonlight affects local color. What sped up my workflow was this brush I found, it’s like a rectangle with one side hard and one side soft, so it sped up rendering a ton. I’m not sure where I got the brush from, I downloaded a bunch of brush packs and didn’t learn about organizing them until just this week. Still haven’t put any organization to my brushes tho.

Color temperature is relative and even colors that you may think are warm have cool alternatives. The red of her lips is cool likely alizarin crimson rather than a warmer red like cadmium red. Also the source of light determines temperature as well as saturation effects. Having saturated colors at the terminator is usually an implication of subsurface scattering which I don’t believe moonlight is strong enough to create, at least not in the context of most environments.
