Yes. You've put this in words I've wanted to write before. I'm not *too* intimidated by the existence of AI art. It makes the future of the craft somewhat uncertain, and it's in my human nature to be fearful towards it, but what really bothers me is the idea of machine learning 100% copying an artist's style
To me, art is a form of deep, personal human communication, a way for an artist to put their soul into their work. Some people want to transcend their mortal flesh and become machines, but for some artists creating artwork is their equivalent of that. It's kind of hard to put it into words, but there's a lot of gay existential/philosophical stuff going on that really matters to me.

It's best not to worry about it though. I don't think we're there yet, and I don't think it'll come as soon as some people think. I certainly won't pretend that I can say it'll never happen, but it's best not to spend too much time thinking about it. It's like stressing over our mortality. Sometimes it's best to just enjoy what we have now and bide the bumps life brings us.
