60s gestures

These look great! You’re beginning to feel the form here. These are absolutely decent and are basically at the level you need them to be to begin fleshing them out into full drawings

Breddy gud, keep training accuracy. This looks very nice. Look at where the adductors meet the pubic bone/mound/labia majora in the reference compared to yours. You missed a good bit of detail there. If that wasn’t the focus of your study then that’s fine, I’m pointing it out just in case

>proportions
*nervous sweating*

Not bad! Check the overlap of her right (our left) breast on her torso, above and below her bra in the middle. Her boob would probably overlap her ribs rather than vice versa. I like the shapes

I like the more charming, friendlier feel of the left, with her rounder face and smile and warm palette, but the right shows a bit more skill. I’d fix the tangent formed by her left (our right) shoulder/upper arm where it meets the armor

Oh fug you’re right. I did some gestures now because of this post.

As much as people harp on needing to do finished works, it’s also important to know when you should just move on. I think we begs mostly need mileage. The price we pay to git gud is to sacrifice thousands of bad drawings to the art gods before they’ll grant us the ability to make good drawings. You might be bothered because you drew one breast in complete side profile and the facing us dead on, instead of drawing both in roughly 3/4

It’s fine

Very nice shapes, highly appealing

After you know the anatomy, yeah, think about designing it with appeal. But to learn? That’s like learning the primitive forms by drawing snakes instead of cylinders, or trying to learn to draw boxes by drawing cars instead. It’s good practice, and you can do it in addition to Hampton, Morpho, etc., but not as the sole method of learning anatomy. (Unless you really like it)
