I've been toying with the idea of plein air for a long time, it just sounds so attractive to me. Can you tell me what do you love about it? I don't have a car so I am kind of limited in that department but have went outside multiple times to draw from nature but my skill with values / color is not strong enough to create a proper painting. How much would a basic setup for plein air cost even??
