Thanks Kings, I didn't draw consistently for all the ten years and my skill kind of decayed while I was on an art hiatus (2 years), but this year was the year I took digital seriously and went into it harder, here's a piece I did from April for Sikh Heritage Month here in Canada.

But in accordance to OP I still think adding dates or at the very lease the YEAR alone is super crucial, both for reference in the future and for people to see what year a piece was created by you.

>Do you think its unique
As far as other Sikh artists go, VERY. But compared to other western/fantasy artists, not so much, considering my main source of inspiration throughout my whole life was Warcraft/Blizzard.

>What makes it different
From other Sikh artists, the fact that I'm not copying the same damn painting of our founders that you can find literally anywhere like all these other artists, or the fact that I actually engage our history with the intensity it deserves. But again, compared to other fantasy artists when including my other stuff, I guess the angles and sharp lines help.

Since I was comparing myself to other Sikh artists, here you go, my main piece for Sikh Heritage Month 2020 here in Ontario, Canada.

Simplified with pic related, the first and last founders of the Sikh faith (there were 10 founders (Gurus) in total but I chose the 2 most popular, drawn by me.

>fast forward to the guy on the right, father was slain by Mughal Empire and at this point a lot of our people have been slain by muslims
>he says "Fuck that shit and fuck Islam too" and mobilizes the Sikhs into our first holy army called "The Khalsa"
>beats back Mughals and Islamic oppression up until his death and immortalizes his teachings and all the other 9 Guru's into a Holy Book called "the Guru Granth Sahib", which is technically out 11th Guru

Basically, Sikhism summed up is:
>don't be an asshole
>God is one singular formless being, but is technically everywhere
>protect the weak, use force if necessary
>dedicate/sacrifice your heart for your loved ones

There's a bunch of other more fundamentalist stuff I'm skipping over but that's the jist of it.
