Soon we will have a massive population of out of work artists with years of experience, a lengthy history of professional paid work on a huge scale for known studios and connections with everyone that hires on an almost first name basis.

If you have no history, and less than 2 years experience, you are not going to find work making shit unless your stuff is fucking immaculate to behold and 100% without a flaw. Otherwise no one is getting professional work right out the gate for the next several years to come.

How much attention does inktober really get people anyway? I keep hearing how it is some amazing way to be seen by industry people, but I have not heard of anyone getting a job by doing inktober drawings.
