It's probably because purplekecleon (aka glitchedpuppet) made it. It's really discouraged on a lot of social media sites to RT/Reblog anything she made now because of all the uh....very interesting e-drama behind her. You can Google her name and find out all about it.

But despite her "hijinks", you can still see the influence her color tutorial had on a lot of Pokemon fan artists. The coloring style a lot of them use still reminds me of purplekecleon's old coloring style. This was probably the first proper and easy to understand color theory tutorial a lot of beginner artists was ever exposed to when it was released. Years ago there wasn't as many good or widely available art resources online as there is now.

Even pic related's color style seems to have been influenced by PK even though her art is way better than PK's now
