I've been studying Yoji's style for a little while now. Honestly it is hard to grasp.
He must have an excellent grasp of anatomy and the characters design, knowing when to add a stroke and when not to is very important.
The times I've tried to emulate his work just end up looking like a basic outline drawing of the subject done with a brush pen. I'm going to try it with a larger paper from now on, maybe room to work with detail will help. Plus the paper I'm using right now doesnt look good with the brush pen's ink.
