I've always stood by the ideology that I will only create fanart of a show/movie/series that I really enjoy. I know how trendhopping can be valuable in gaining followers and views for one piece, but I've also seen my numbers dip back down after posting again. That really stings when it happens. That being said, some of the new pokemon are neat so I could have a little fun painting them. Thank you for the tips and links, I will add them to the art playlist.

Another issue Is that I don't post that many studies that I do. Either because they aren't the strongest, I think they are boring for other people to look at or they are of other artists and I don't want to plagiarize. In this sense there's a big chunk of work that never sees the light of day, and when I'm doing a lot of studies, I just fall off the face of the earth

thank you again for your input. I believe in you anon, and thank you for liking my little Ghidorah

I've posted my social stuff right in here>>4087726
thank you for asking anon. I hope you like it

I'm really honored, anon. I'm open for commissions now, though my turnaround time will be iffy. I'm not doing more than personal work so I'll dedicate my focus on it till its done though. DM me on either socials, or grab my email from art station because that works too. I'm really kind of honored and would love to see what a piece of mine done in oil would look like

Thank you as well anon. You're very kind. You all are. This is honestly the most positive feedback I think I've ever received from anywhere. It means even more knowing that it came from here, where any of you could be deciding to tear me down and nobody would blame you, but you all are saying such nice things

thank you all again for the positivity. I never expected it when I first posted. You guys have made my week

>Why do you draw/paint?
Sense of identity, enjoyment, passion. I want to create things for people to look at and enjoy. I loved dinosaurs and dragons as a kid, and have continued my love for them to this day
> How long have you been drawing/painting?
insert cocky "since I was born" comment. Joking aside, around (a very inconstant) 5 years. I had hit rock bottom and decided that one of the few things that made me happy was drawing and painting, so I set my sights on doing that.
>Which do you use: traditional, digital, or both?
Digital. Traditional for doodles and notes sometimes, but nothing beats the convenience of having a tablet and almost every color possible. I borrowed tablet from a friend when they upgraded to a larger tablet and have kept it since. Want to move to traditional someday
>What are your career goals, if any?
Work for MTG, Gwent, and other card games with similar styles. I like big monsters and horror related stuff, and the niche seems to be with them. Beyond that, not much. Getting stable work for a company that gives me interesting prompts, and to live a quiet, secluded life where nobody interrupts me. As I grow older and older, I'd like to work on some master works of my own. As an old man, I'll pull a Goya, drawing morbid paintings all over my walls that people will cut out of the drywall itself and hang up to shock people
>Who are your favorite artists?
Past the very usual Leyendecker, Goya, Bouguereau, that most people say, I like Anna Podedworna, Piotr Jabłoński, Stephen Oakley, Dan Peacock, Maxim Verehin, Alex Konstad and a pretty long list of others, but those are off the top of my head

included is WIP. sorry for large size
