yes, all the progress is up to what he DOES

but it's not just about 'doing stuff'
when you recieve proper education, you're relying on the shoulders of all the stupid mistakes past generations have made before you, so your path is straight and efficient

if you wan't to re invent the wheel is one thing, if you want to re invent a cancer treatment from scratch you're fucked up

what I say is not an "excuse" to quit or do nothing, it's a clear advice to wake the fuck up and realice the thing that matters most is being mentored by someone who have a clue or you're going to lack foundations

sad truth is, art education on the west has lost all tradition/foundation training
