I think you should focus on shape design a bit more. I have no idea who Dave Greco is, or what aesthetic you were going for. But if you focus on shape design, and a good underdrawing, you can practically get away with murder.

Not an overpaint so much as a repaint. But here you go. Hope it's helpful in some way.
