This is an opinion only.

Wacom is the least bang for buck, but when drawing for 6-8 hrs, anything that makes life easier starts to become more enticing.

Other tablets are good value but don't expect perfection when you aren't willing to pay the price and are still definitely worth buying.

XP-Pen > Huion. It's a personal thing.

I don't use tilt (much) and prefer keyboard shortcuts for brush rotation than turning the barrel.

Issues are always a thing, I remember having to open a few intuos 2 / intuos 3s in the past and having to adjust the tuning screws etc, having problems with wacom drivers or needing to restart the computer at times after connecting an Intuos 4.

Windows convertibles has a specific place but laptop + tablet combo is the best. (I still use my convertible)

Galaxy vs Apple, no real winner here, it's your preference of application ecosystem though finding nibs for the Galaxy should be considered.
