I still feel like I have the most success when I *don't* use the Loomis method, but knowing his structure and preference for defining the major planes is a helpful augment to the process I prefer (last head middle row was the closest to the reference IMO and I used a bastardized weston method). Regardless, I'm going to press on, as I feel like it's been slowly unlocking. Also it's exceedingly difficult to get a consistent head with this method, because if one measurement is a little off, the whole thing falls apart. I'm having trouble envisioning the "sphere" when drawing from reference, since the Loomis sphere is so much bigger than other head construction methods and you end up cutting away so much of it.
