Couldnt find a software specific thread so I'll ask here:
How do I measure the area of an object by it's alpha pixels? basically I have an irregular shaped cutout and I want to scale it so it's equally sized to a differently shaped irregular shaped area. Either in Inkscape or Krita.

so i started reading scott robertson's book, but the the part where he starts talking about cone of vision in chapter 2 already has me like pic related. would it be a better idea for me to go watch something like vandruff's perspective series first before i try to approach this?
