Anon, you forgot the part where you are not a famous vtuber who gets paid hundreds of dollars just to be sent a message, and who will have raked in thousands by the time you've leisurely spent 3h drawing.

If you want to compensate for that, you should be able to draw the same artwork as her in 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

But sadly the only difference is in skill. If you're already using pen pressure, then the only thing left is to have more confident, long and, of course, well-placed lines.

Experiment drawing more loosely and organically, learn to draw with a loose grip and let go of control.
Then, after you're comfortable drawing like that, you slowly put control back until you reach the sweetspot.

A small but (for me) revolutionary piece of knowledge is that the hair ends meet at completely retarded places, if you do the triangle taper too perfectly it looks stiff, but on his drawing you can see a lot of the times one side of the triangle ends and the other just continues way further down.

Bad habits > Not drawing at all

Bad habits take a lot of willpower to fix because we like being in our comfort zone, but in terms of actual time needed to iron them out, it's not bad.
Same with language, people who never fix their pronunciation are just lazy because their thick accent is "enough" to convey the message and they don't see language as anything but a tool.

So, is drawing a tool for you, or something to be polished and taken seriously? If so, bad habits will not do you any harm.

- Hire someone to cook and clean for me;
- Hire someone to be my personal secretary/nanny, making sure I wake up and do what's on my schedule;
- Pay for art mentoring;
- Save enough for a zero stress life;
- Burn the rest on commissioning studios to turn my ideas into animations, games, software etc.

On the other I'm completely against censorship and someone's gotta produce porn for when I want it.

I say let them do their thing, but don't give them any acknowledgement, talk shit about porn artists all the time and let them live freely in the margins of society. It's what worked for centuries with prostitutes.
