Helene Schjerfbeck

Well, Helene Schjerfbeck (1862-1946) is one of the most beloved and celebrated artists from my country and I adore her work. One of my biggest inspirations and I'm a dude.

What are you people trying to prove here anyway? I love this NGMI circle jerk of virgins we always see in these threads. I'm sure that the lack of really well known female artists in the past has a lot to do with the political climate and shit like that. Women weren't accepted to a lot of art academies in the past and their art wasn't taken seriously even if it was good.

If your sense of self-worth is so fucking low that you need to feel a sense of superiority because of arbitrary physical attributes you were given at birth... Well. I don't really know what to tell you. Go talk to a professional about your problems or keep reading those self-help books that tell you that you're very special boy.
