i couldn't get used to how i'm not looking at the "paper" while drawing and the disconnect between hand and lines, so i just went and bought a cheap screen tablet
to be honest if you're not a bitch like me, i see very little reason to spend all that money for a screen tablet. screenless is just as viable and in fact many pros use screenless tablets. it's just a matter of getting used to what i mentioned IMO

to be fair don't screenless tablets get scratched and worn out way way faster than screen tablets?

Kinda but it wasn't 8 hours and it wasn't manual labor.
Even when I had to just work my mind keeps daydreaming and I can sort of autopilot some tasks but I can't actually focus on the task for multiple hours straight, that seems impossible. The only things I can do that with are just no brainers like watching anime or vidya. For anything else I've ever done like school homework and study, drawing etc. I can maybe keep focus for a few mins and rarely more than that. Then I start meandering again

This is also true, I certainly feel pressured to work when I know someone needs my work to be done in a time limit and results are expected of me but there's no way I can reproduce that with drawing by myself

It really isn't that easy dude. Maybe I have a problem but I tried many many times to be more productive. It's kinda helped slightly for drawing but it still feels like a slog
