as a hobbyist your kinda like a distraction to the people who want to make money. Its not that hobbyists arent real artists, its just that if im going to network or be your friend its because i hope that your gonna be trying to go places too. When you dont its just like a fun jerk off relationship but a waste of time. a lot of people dont really have any other option than to make it. so when someone comes in and is like "oh im here just for fun" its kinda like a slap in the face to the artists who take it seriously. not that i feel this way, i think most people come to art from a hobby, like a lot of things but i wouldnt disclose to people that your a hobbyist or professional. i think its should be used more descriptive than prescriptive.
