I created the original /ic/ Tower Girls drawing game (inspired by Gatz' artwork) many years ago, at least 10. It used to look like this pic (but there's a handful of even more primitive versions I'd made floating around). I stopped making new threads on /ic/ and participating so much myself quite a while ago. At one point I'd made an art board on Eight Chan "/loomis/" and devoted much of my time there more or less having left /ic/ entirely; I also wasn't able to expend as much time critiquing or commenting on individual pieces like I used to in either case. I'm very proud to see that this thread has continued on without me and gets wonderful art posted to it regularly.

Having returned, these days I maintain the Drawpile thread (https://boards.4chan.org/ic/thread/6973207)), which I'm happy to say has been very successful, and regularly hosts many strong artists I'd met over the years across various websites and communities.

>Do you happen to know the name of him or the artist who created him?

Initially I created him as a joke character in one of the first iterations of the Tower Girls thread I'd made over 10 years ago. "Natti Backsnapicus". He changed quite a bit as time went on of course, now he doesn't really have a name or a specific purpose but has become sort of my mascot/self-insert character; I'm really happy a lot of people seem to enjoy drawing him as well.

>Clout or friendships?
"Likes" and such should rightly feel good, but at the end of the day they're an impersonal bing-bing wahoo number that shouldn't be taken too seriously-or too personally-if you aren't getting many. There are artists you wouldn't believe who either get low engagement or have essentially no social media at all and it'd be my hope that in the former's case they don't let that discourage them.

>"blind spots to develop"
Ope, I misspoke a bit there, obviously I have enough blind spots and don't want to develop any more! Rather I still have quite a few that need to be ironed out.

>Thank you, have a good day and a happy new year, man.
You too, cheers and good luck. Here's to the future.
