Pic related is an example of my painting process from sketch. I'm not at her(?) level but this should give you an idea as to how she may paint. Looks like Sakimichan does a similar process based on this video in that she starts with a sketch and paints it over: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84XQ0Vsjhb4

Keep in mind this is just one way of going about it. There are other ways to do digital painting, but this is my preferred method at this point.
