I'm trying drawabox. Just finished the superimposed lines exercise. Drawing the long ones is hard as fuck.
Questions:

- How did I do?
- Should my hand be floating or is it ok to rub it against the paper even when drawing from the shoulder?
- It's recommended to draw for fun instead of grinding on the exercises. Should I be trying to draw realistic stuff or even cartoony shit is ok?

Post the reference picture so people can see what went right and what didn't.

My guess is that you should have shaded the entire skin and that you went too light on the eye lashes and brows and too dark in some of the shadows.

The arm holding the sword has a weird forearm.
There is something wrong with the person's right' shoulder or torso.
