The problem with all the toon shit made in the past 30 years is that is so fucking flat and so fucking simple is just basic geometry with cero volume or perspective and almost cero detail and almost cero shading.

People will say it is because we worship ugliness and that is only partially true, this is a byproduct of lacking talent (genetics) so we have to come around with design theory and make a feasible design that is easy to draw and stylized enough thus coming out ugly and I say more than ugly, cheap looking.
