i can't grasp how to constuct an accurate torso out of a ribcage and pelvis. i have had this problem since i first started out. gone through loomis and hampton and a few others too. if i spend a while i can take something shitty and kinda chip at it one contour at a time to make it look better, but this is terrrible when i'm just trying to sketch something out of shapes real quick. doesnt help that all the references you can find all have different bodies, and are usually unappealing anyway. if i can't figure out the form and tilt of an appealing ribcage, i can't figure out how the breasts interact with it nor how it joins with the rest of the torso to create an overall good looking figure.
