you are supposed to draw a small box (either horizontal or vertical) and then draw composition thumbnail into it. and do it multiple times and then pick the best one. not to use whole surface of canvas. anyway your current composition is very confusing. like what am i even looking at?

I disagree. There are plenty of beg books for idiots: drawing on right side of brain, drawing for utter beginner are two great examples which are super idiot-proof. The people give up because its fucking nightmare marathon before you see even slight improvements. The hardest pill to swallow is that you need mileage. LOTS of mileage
