Speaking from personal experience, the best chairs are made by SteelCase. They are made in the USA so they're not cheap, but they are worth the investment.

I bought a fully-loaded "Jack" chair from them, and I sit on it 10+ hours every day. I have never had any issues with it, best chair I've owned, and this is their lowest cost model. I fully recommend this chair and this company:
