I know this is bait but it is what most retards unironically believe because they couldn't cope with the thought that someone might dislike them, which gives me an excuse to post some truth.

It is not an irrational hate or jealousy when people say they hate artists, but it is a figure of speech contextualizing an heavy dislike or disgusts with how artists behave.

No ones gives an actual shit if you can make pretty pictures, sure some might be wowed for a second and give some praise but that's about it--- which a lot of artists then delude themselves into believing that people borderline worship them, and by virtue of that the artist believe they're worth more than others, which then they will start behaving accordingly to what they believe.
That's basic narcissistic behavior, which is basically the mental illness of this decade.

Not to speak of how artists treat each other.
One might think /ic/ is a shithole, but here at least people are honest with their feelings and intentions in most threads.
If you "network" with others, 9 times out of 10, they don't have the best intentions or are seeking to use you for their advantage or to get attention; which the circlejerking generals and all discord servers do a lot.

If you don't hate/dislike/be disgusted by people like that whom you might or already have crossed paths with, you're either naive or one of those people that should be avoided, since they use art as a tool to get attention on themselves and to avoid getting a real job.

This is why most who draw for years don't get good, because then they can't try to get attention from other people by being "weak".
Many figure it out, that's why you see begs left on their own and they never get any better. Then what do these people do? Instead of working on their shit, they blame others for their lack of skill, which is another attempt to try and get attention from others who are higher on the "social ladder", so they can leech off of them.
