Fair enough and I hear ya.

Still, I'm happy I became friends with that artist I mentioned but it feels really shitty that our happy friendship had to take such a horrible turn of events.

So far no one has mentioned what their endgame is.

I am years in, I've been taking it seriously since 2016, but not 8 hours serious. Perhaps I should have clarified:
2012: graduated from highschool, no idea what to do with life.Get into university, fail because of lack of interest and vidya.
2013: /beg/ - first digital drawing, but learned basic perspective
2014:Go to new college in the US. doodles (basically nothing)
2015: 1 or 2 "good" drawing posted on deviant art.
2016:Fly back home from US. Unable to transfer credits. start new college, fall into severe depression but realize art is cool. draw every 2 - 3 days for 10 - 30 mins

2017 same shit, not much progress

2018 - draw every day 5 days a week for atleast 30 minutes to usually an hour

2019 - draw every day. Take art seriously.

2020 - get obsessed and do about 2 - 4 hours a day. Realize that art is the whole point of my existence. (got out of depression with meds/Started reading 2 perspective books)
summer 2020 - 8 hours a day, grinded scott robertsons how to draw and how to render for 2 months, massive art gains

after summer: graduate from college as an IT, realized bachelors is shit without certifications.
Still drew but not as much as before because i started to lose steam hard.

September: Grind A+ IT certification and get wage cuck job. Quit job and start studing for both art and IT certs.

October: Reignited the fire. Afraid of repeating the same mistake. Going Full steam ahead. Not /beg/ anymore. Still along way to go for /pro/. Juggling two subjects at the same time with their own fundies, not so easy.

Gotta makesure i can keep up with both parts of my life. I got no gf, so im not distracted by that atleast. Future for a job still seems unclear. I either go full speed ahead to become a System administrator one day, or maybe go to the military. What ever happens, art must not lose priority. I refuse to let it go. It feels like my main reason to continue living. Makes me happy.

I can understand this sentiment, but at least I have finally found my problem and I am going nowhere but up from this point and it's a good feeling.
