Been checking some anime production vids and, if I'm understanding this correctly, the pencil frames get scanned at 960 x 1600 resolution with 144dpi, then they get indexed to 4 colors + background for quick bucket coloring and then blurred/anti-aliased on After Effects to get rid of the jaggies.
Is this correct? What would be the digital-only equivalent?
