And it's not even about the celebrity. It's about a formal, "glamorous" talk show appearance being subverted by the inescapable ackwardness of human existence. She's there to act as a sexy marketing ploy to shill for a movie and the entire intent is subverted by her demonstrating her awkward childish sensory stimulation behavior that fundamentally clashes with the idea and appearance of a woman in a sleek black dress shilling some movie on tv.
