I don't have my equipment with me right now, so let me demonstrate it with a well known series as an example. Pic related. It still applies (even thought not exactly the same, hence "slightly") since her nose and jaw indicate that you drew her in profile while the mouth floats somewhere. It gives off this strange looking, elongated face.
