I've got another confession - On another board I've met with an Anon that was a kindred spirit who kept posting reaction pics of the same character we both liked and then they started to post their collections of figurines, posters and even body pillows! I was so jealous and wanted to show off my drawings and it turned out to be a complete failure and backfire since they were shit. Anon critiqued me on the spot and told me it looked nothing like the anime. I've felt so unworthy ever since then and get butterflies in my stomach every time I see her now. I can't even utter her name.
