Alright, I solved that problem, and with that I finally think I can do more or less what I set out to do from the beginning with only minimal annoyance from the software itself.

If you move a single frame/exposure or smaller chain of multiple exposures into a larger chain of multiple exposures using shift the new drawings will still replace the old ones outright in a different-but similar manner to if you just drag them. You have to move the exact same number of exposures in order for the software to properly wedge those frames in between the others (as the function implies it should be doing to begin with)

It's been a wild ride, but I think I can finally rest.

I will probably continue to use Krita most of the time, unless I'm working on a project of considerable length or audio is involved-and even then I might start just using a separate audio player that can display an audio file's timing information better. I don't know, this whole experience has left me butthurt.

This, tried it once. Seemed pretty intuitive-not sure how it stacks up to others but it's something.

Not OP ( thank God :^] ) but what is Kyle's blog again, for real? I'm looking for a few SFW pinups of a few of my female OC characters and I think he might be the man for the job. Uh...maybe?

Are you a pretty girl that's as good or better than Jazza? Do you draw fan art?

>mfw that girl theme park caricature artist was casually going on about people giving her $30 tips as if it was normal for everybody.

If you're a girl, a decent artist and you're not a fat piece of garbage you would do well to sell yourself in that way a little. Dress nice and clean up for conventions. So many fedoramen who are used to seeing a crowd of women that are just as sexually unappealing as they themselves are will pay you for the privilege of just having a short conversation across a plastic table from you. Show JUST a little cleavage and I guarantee you'll sell out in no time as long as your work ticks a few of the right boxes.

There's nothing to it but to do it. You have to plan ahead of time for scheduling purposes, though. I set a date several days ahead of making that image in which I had no other obligations. I did almost nothing that entire day but draw, eat, make some minimal contact with friends, and kept /ic/ posted every couple dozen pages. Anyone that can draw fairly quickly and accurately can do it, but if you still chicken scratch or have to spend a lot of time gauging spatial relationships and proportions etc. I wouldn't bother even trying yet. Consider just doing 10 pages or so and timing yourself, you should be able to tell if it's possible for you to make it by that point. Some pages will take much longer than others, but a small cluster of them like that should be fairly representative of the whole.
