I might be wrong about this, I'm a beginner too and not an expert, but I feel like the best way you're going to learn is by doing it right the first time and not skipping over parts or being lazy. All of the lines going up and to the left are parallel lines, they should all be matching up at a distant vanishing point I'd assume. Hopefully this image I made helps.

But also to anybody else who sees this and is more experienced, what the fuck is up with the lines I highlighted in the bottom right? All of the lines going across the form above match up to the horizon line, but when I try to match the lower lines to the horizon line, they're off? Why the fuck is that? I'm going to bed though (5am) so I won't see any responses for a while.
