the head is too wide because you didn't flatten the side planes
also your linework changes colors in odd places
the hair, a lighten tone than the face, gets black lines, while the face gets lighter brown lines
gives the piece an inconsistent style

I've been doing my Loomis for a while now and I've come to the part where I've been making heads (pic related). I think I've gotten pretty good at actually making the heads himself but I still struggle with the actual facial features, especially the eyeballs.

Am I just supposed to attempt to copy Loomis' work or is there a better resource to practice facial features?
