you don't understand how it works retard. Selling something for 39,89 will automatically give you an edge over everyone else who sell their product for 40,00, even if your shipping costs ends up pushing it to the same initial price. Normies only see the obvious shit and don't think past that.

same applies to commissions. Charge past a certain point and they'll go look for someone else. Give them a nice even number and add + tip, they'll only think about the initial price without stressing too much about a few extra bucks afterwards, but charge more from the get go and it might just be past their limit and they are off. Even better if you say something like "well this will be around 150, but since I really enjoyed working on it I'll give you a 10 buck discount :)" this will make the commissioner happy in multiple ways, and then haul in that extra 25buck tip.

I'm surprised so many newfags here don't have a clue.. but then again, /ic.
