(I had just posted this in a tablet thread, but upon seeing this, I felt it more appropriate)

I purchased a Wacom tablet several months ago, attempted to use it and get used to the feel of it.

I simply could not get used to the feel of it in my hand. Every curve I made turned into an awful shaky mess. I couldn't properly do simple shapes, and drawing a face seemed impossible, let alone an entire body or character.

I was using photoshop as my software.

Is this something that everyone has to deal with when first starting out? Should I be using some kind of specific settings for my brushes?

Leaning to draw on this bastard seems an insurmountable task.
