dude just set aside 2-4 hours three to four days a week. Don't think about "finishing", just focus on the process. Try to let it be meditative. Just focus on observing and getting. it. fucking. right. Clear your mind. You'll fall into a rhythm and before you know it you'll be able to put 40 hours into a drawing.

I think pic related was at like 20ish hours and I had to stop (needed the easel for something else) but I could see stuff that needed fixing and that I could have easily put another 10-15 hours into.

On your first one or two go ahead and be impatient, do it in 10 hours, but then start spending more time in the early phases really, really focusing on landing the proportions correctly the first time.

Really, clear mind. Meditate.

Just shy of 20 hours and I'm calling it because I've got another project I need to move on to.

I stopped the last one I did at 8 hours and wondered why anyone would spend more time on this kind of drawing. I think my capacity to notice stuff is getting better, because I see a lot that I could make more accurate (there's also a lot of proportion stuff I can't), and bet I could easily put in another 6-10 hours getting it just right.

Whoa man you're really fast, you should do some tutorial videos. I bet people would pay for those.

Post at a reasonable size. 1200 width should be the max.

You didn't answer me last time. What scale are you doing these at? Are you doing them on some sort of inclined surface, or just at a table from the book? What do you find that you're getting out of them?

I skipped bargues and went straight to casts, but I'm thinking about going back.

The scars/tattoos don't wrap correctly around her limbs in a few places, makes them flat. Also, her left knee is kinda borked.

IMO, going directly into color is the way to go with individual pieces. Starting black and white only is more about the overall learning process, as in no painting in color until you've mastered B/W.
Anyway, for that piece, there's not much to critique since it's so removed from reality. I'd say you have an idea of form and construction, but you're not super confident in it. Most of the limbs look like the bones are made of rubber because they have weird bends. Upper right arm is a big offender.

Work on your edge control. You don't have any hard edges and it kills your drawing. Also, his right eye and his mouth are way out of perspective.
