Aaaaah... this is tricky.

A comic is different, but there are extents.
For instance, I would not begrudge your comic simply because there are racists or sexists or whatever in it. Or other negative themes, such as murder/rape/slavery. These are realities of history and life, and all sorts of content from fantasy to science fiction explore these sort of themes. If they're there because they're simply a facet of the story, that's fine.
I would avoid political commentary as a driving factor in your art in general, but I haven't solidified that. I don't think I've specified that in site policies, but I don't want DAD to be an argumentative battleground regardless of your political affiliation. It should always be about self improvement above all else.

> But everything's inherently political
I mean, if you get reductionist enough, everything is. There are greys. Just use your best judgment, and open discussions when you think things are vague.

I'm not gonna shoot you in the leg for having a bald eagle standing on an American Flag. I'm not going to punish you if you so happen to visually explore your heritage or certain parts of history that are important to you. The difference I guess, is if the point of your work is to make a political statement, I would prefer if you kept it off the site. If you're really concerned, feel free to PM me or email me about your ideas.

Something like this is absolutely not ok. Nor is what I've attached. Just stay away from purely politically-driven drawings in general.
side note political cartoons in general are just shit

As a general rule of thumb, try to stay as apolitical as possible. It's much harder in narrative formats like comics, but I think I'll lend a touch more leniency in those cases.
