anon, let it go.
it is not a sin to drop something close to your heart for the right cause.
there are those graphic novel series where daydreaming about it won't create any progress, and that story you've been building up in your head since highschool is one such.
i know how you feel, anon. you are determined to make this series happen, you do not like the idea of throwing it all away. i know because i too have experienced these feelings.
but its because you cherish this creation that you must make it perfect, hence why you're too afraid to start, because it's "too soon" or your skills "haven't developed enough yet"

please, drop your restraints, drop this epic fantasy series and start drawing something else already. you have the talent, my scanners sensed it.
if you don't drop it now and try moving onto other things, you will never mature as an artist
