haha dont worry. not giving up on you guys yet. have been on /ic for the last 5 years on and off. and this kinda behaviour is expected. Its kinda nice though, ppl will simply speak their mind. also makes for some intresting critiques! Yeah zbrush is a really good tool to learn, very versatile! id get the alex figini tutorial from learnedsquared. it has alott of info, very helpfull. for me i tend to use maya for hardsurfuce modelling and zbrush for organic. maya seems more simple to me, better to set up composition/perspective and stuff. zbrush has so many tools i find it hard to know when and where to use them. yet when mastered i dont think there is any program that can rival z-brush in the versatility department, maybe 3d coat.

Nowadays i try to do page layouts, since at most studios they print out your stuff and put it on a wall so the whole team can look at it. the layout adds a little tiny bit imo, which might make the diffrence.also could print the bunch of layouts as a book to send to potential clients. Here's the mock up layout
