In lieu of the anons that feel they aren't gonna make it, I had the idea of perhaps having myself and potentially other lassies who wish to participate, step back and look at work that you found inspirational/influential etc. In doing so, I hope this provides a refreshed drive to continue to draw and improve. Ideally it'd be nice for other lassies to point one another to other work that they may find inspirational upon seeing what they like. I'll start with my own.

I've always liked the renaissance and baroque sculptures, they've always had a nice sense of movement and dynamic energy, and they always look good from any angle of observation.

The capcom artists are some of my favorites(specifically Gouda and Akiman), particularly for the art they've done in the 90s for games like MvC and Darkstalkers. The colorful palettes, exaggeration and power that the art radiated really stuck with me.

Yoshitaka Amano's art I've enjoyed mainly for his sense of style and use of watercolors. The patterns he designs along with the usually overly extravagant jewelry, combined with his light, sketchy drawings always felt 'airy' and whimsical.

Araki I enjoy for much of the same reasons above, his design, choice of color and the exaggeration of characters makes his art memorable, be it old or new art.

So please, I encourage other lassies to share their favorites, what they like about them, and hopefully you'll find a sense of renewed passion and drive, and maybe even some new sources to further improve your art. We all gon make it.
