There is still a lot of textures and details to add such as revolver shell casings, broken glass, doors, etc. Some is still currently lost in the Flats, especially the belt and boots.

Got the mood and general feel of it down, at least.

Right now, it still feels too empty.

It depends. When I'm just drawing a character with no background, I just select the negative space - around the character, outside the lines. After that, I invert the selection and just lasso fill the thing for a solid base.

A base to build the many clipping layers on top of.

Afterwards, I drop the whole mess of flats layers into a folder for convenience. Then just go from there.

For more complex pieces, I more or less do the same - except I seperate the character, foreground, and background with different base layers. Then give them their own folders.

Sometimes, I'll merge the Flats layers together if I'm satisfied.

Thank you. The client was thankfully very helpful in describing what he wanted. I was also able to add a personal touch as well that he approved of greatly.
