I think you'd want to try full figure first, using very simple shapes like spheres and cylinders or boxes, to get used to the lenght/width of each limb and the ratios of the body, then only after that you would practice the actual shape and anatomy of each part individually, then put it all together

Have you been copying them while trying to figure out how they built and posed the character? You have to learn how to construct it, in perspective, using shapes, then copy a pose you like, then draw it from a slightly different angle or perspective, and add the features of the character you have in mind, there's a lot of illustrations using the same poses but they're not always identical, if you know how to pose the body correctly you can change them slightly, or a lot.

Anyways i need to learn how to draw hair, does anyone have tips? Also i use a weird reverse Loomis method, i draw the neck area first and build the head up from there going neck>jaw>ear>skull. does the order matter?
