I have for at least 2 years now. It's wonderful making 3D models for myself and getting to use them in congruent with my art.

It's good just to shit out an idea you don't have the complete skill to just do by eyeballing it (it's not muh imagination I come up with shit in my head all the time but that doesn't mean you know how to translate it properly in 3D space from your mind) but I only do that if it's commercially efficient to do over from scratch if I'm stress for time. Otherwise, and mostly after I did it once before, I typically just deconstruct the pose I had trouble with prior from scratch so to not always need a base to start from.

But using tools isn't illegal, no one cares, just the end result matters. And getting it done right but boringly verses struggling and shitting out a polished turd isn't going to make you better.

Not him, but that's not entirely wrong, just, you'd likely need to design the 3D model in a way it can be exaggerated in a good way to create good flow. I don't see it being good personally if you just take a t posed model and just align things in the "right spot".

So this is fine as long as its your photo, right? It has to be, it would be no different from using models you make and sketching off from them, like many Jap artists do as well.

I should get into photography, landscape was never my craft to begin with.
