Art doesn't need a human author, it merely requires an observer. Where do you draw inspiration from? Nature itself as you are mimicking what you observe through nature from color theories, light, shadow, form, proportion, and pattern. Claiming that thinking nature is art because its pretty just goes to show how ignorant you are of what exactly you've been complimenting on canvas all along.

No, it hasn't always been this bad; since the start of Kr0npr1nz and Sakimichan threads there's been a shift towards mimicking style to please the eye of simpletons versus pursuing good draftsmanship and self expression. This cookie cutter pin up artist abusing filters and cropping figures to show generic 3/4 view bust shots are the cancers that's been ravaging the whole lot.

I now dare to say that I have long exhausted the usefulness of this board and all that remains are plebeian folk playing holier than thou.
