I fucking hate this argument. Im my opinion starting art is like a hill you have to force yourself to climb, but it get easier and more fun when you actually start understand the fundamentals and whatnot. This is like saying you shouldn't be doing anything that requires an effort or can be a strain for your psyche.

This is an argument of man who has lost the battle against art. Someone who uses excuses to prove themselves that they did the right thing quitting.
