People who throw around the "crab" thought-terminator want to appear righteous by dismissing even vaguely insulting critiques to "defend" the artist they're directed towards, and to fuel their own narcissism by projecting the image of themselves rising above, and in spite of, an unenlightened group who is trying to keep them down. It's literal tumblr victim/revolutionary mentality and has no place on 4chan.
Next time you see someone say "crab", go ahead and tell them to crawl back into whatever rainbow-colored hole they leaked out of. And that their art is shit, for good measure.
